VS Code installs the connector from a link. In Affixo, open Settings → Developer & API → MCP server and click Add to VS Code.
1

Click Add to VS Code

VS Code opens and asks you to confirm a server named affixo pointing at https://go.affixo.dev/mcp. Confirm, then start it.
2

VS Code opens Affixo in your browser — sign in, then choose the workspace and the access level:
  • Read only — inspect campaigns, commissions, promoters and referrals.
  • Read & write — also create/update campaigns, set commission rules (including per-product rates), configure product commissions, and invite affiliates.
You must be an admin of the workspace to authorize a connector.
3

Check it loaded

Open Copilot Chat in agent mode and ask: “List my Affixo campaigns.” The tools show under the tools picker as affixo.

Adding it by hand

Per project, in .vscode/mcp.json:
Keep "type": "http". Without it VS Code registers the entry as a stdio server, tries to run the URL as a command, and the server never connects.
