ChatGPT supports custom MCP connectors behind a Developer mode toggle, on a paid plan only.
What you can do with the connector depends on the plan. Full MCP support — including the write actions that create campaigns and set commission rules — is Business, Enterprise and Edu on ChatGPT web, where the toggle lives under Workspace settings → Permissions & roles. Plus and Pro can add custom connectors, but may find write actions unavailable and only the read tools usable. If ChatGPT lists the Affixo tools and every write call fails, this is why — it isn’t the access level you picked at sign-in.
1

Turn on Developer mode

Settings → Connectors → Advanced settings, then enable Developer mode. Until you do, there is no button to create a connector — this is the step people miss.
2

Create the connector

Back on Settings → Connectors, click Create. Name it Affixo, paste the URL, and choose OAuth as the authentication method:
3

Connect and sign in

Click Connect. Affixo opens in your browser — sign in, then choose the workspace and the access level:
  • Read only — inspect campaigns, commissions, promoters and referrals.
  • Read & write — also create/update campaigns, set commission rules (including per-product rates), configure product commissions, and invite affiliates.
You must be an admin of the workspace to authorize a connector.
4

Check it loaded

Start a chat, enable the Affixo connector for it, and ask: “List my Affixo campaigns.”
Developer mode gives a connector real write access inside your chats. Ours can’t move money — payouts and payment batches are deliberately not exposed — but you should still grant read only unless you actually want ChatGPT configuring campaigns.
